Information You Provide:
- Account Information: Email address, username, display name, optional bio, subscription information (current tier and payment status), and legal consent records (acceptance timestamps for Terms of Service and Privacy Policy)
- Personal Planning Data: Goals, projects, tasks, habits, routines, class schedules, work expectations, important dates, timelines, and personal notes. Note: When creating age-based timelines, you may optionally provide a birthdate for that specific timeline to enable age-based event calculations. This is optional - you can choose date-based timelines instead.
- Health & Fitness Data: Workout routines, exercise tracking (sets, reps, weights), nutrition plans, meal tracking, and diet preferences
- Social Content: Posts, comments, reactions, messages in groups, philosophies, and community interactions
- Community Templates: Goal templates, workout split templates, diet plan templates, and timeline templates you create and share with the community, including template metadata (title, description, usage count, likes)
- Content Moderation Data: Reports you file, moderation actions on your content, and report accuracy statistics (for anti-abuse purposes)
- Support Communications: When you contact us for help
Information Collected Automatically:
- Usage Analytics: How you interact with features, session duration, feature usage patterns, achievement progress, and app mode preferences via Mixpanel
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version, unique device identifiers (for analytics only), timezone (automatically detected from device settings for scheduling features), and IP address
- Error Data: Crash reports and error logs via Sentry (may include user IDs and device context)
- Advertising Data: Ad interaction data and preferences via Google AdMob
- Location Data: We do NOT collect precise GPS location or request location permissions. Timezone is automatically detected from device system settings without accessing your location.
Data Storage Location:
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers located in the United States (US-West region).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Inertia Planner's features and services
- Synchronize your data across devices via cloud storage
- Send push notifications about scheduled items via OneSignal (with permission)
- Calculate achievements, XP scores, and momentum tracking
- Enable social features (posts, comments, groups, friend connections)
- Enable community template sharing, discovery, and usage tracking
- Process subscription payments via Stripe, App Store, or Google Play
- Display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob (with consent)
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Moderate user-generated content and enforce community standards
- Track report accuracy to prevent abuse of the reporting system
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues
- Analyze usage patterns to improve features and user experience
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
We will never sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
- All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption
- Personal data is stored on secure cloud servers with encryption at rest
- Authentication is handled through secure, industry-standard protocols
- We conduct regular security audits and updates
- Automatic backups are performed to prevent data loss
- Access to user data is strictly limited to authorized personnel only
While we implement reasonable security measures, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We share your information only in these circumstances:
- Service Providers: Third-party services for database storage, error tracking, analytics, push notifications, advertising, and payment processing
- Social Features: When you use bulletin posts, groups, or friend features, content is shared with other users as intended
- Community Templates: When you publish a template to the community, it becomes publicly visible to other users and includes your username as the creator
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, subpoena, or governmental request
- Safety & Security: To protect rights, property, or safety of our company, users, or others
- Business Transfers: In connection with merger, sale, or acquisition (users will be notified 30 days in advance)
- Aggregated Data: Anonymized, non-identifiable usage statistics for app improvement
5. Your Privacy Rights & Choices
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correct: Update or correct inaccurate information through account settings
- Delete: Request deletion of your account and associated data (completed within 30 days)
- Export: Download your data in machine-readable format (available even after account suspension)

6. Data Retention
- Active Accounts: We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services
- Deleted Accounts: Personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion request
- Backups: Automatic backups are maintained for 7 days for recovery purposes
- Inactive Accounts: We do not automatically delete inactive accounts
- Moderation Records: Reports, admin actions, and suspension history are retained for 12 months for accountability and pattern detection. Shadow ban records are retained while the restriction is active
- Legal Compliance: Some anonymized data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes
7. Children's Privacy
- Inertia Planner is not intended for children under 13
- We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13
- If we learn we've collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately

8. International Data Transfers
- Data is primarily stored in the United States
- By using the app, you consent to transfer of data to the U.S.
- We comply with applicable data protection laws for international transfers

Identifiers (email, username), personal characteristics (bio), commercial information (subscription and payment data), internet activity and usage analytics, optional location text in posts, and inferences from usage patterns.
11. Advertising & Cookies
- We display advertisements via Google AdMob to free users
- On first use, you'll be asked to consent to personalized ads
- You can choose non-personalized ads or upgrade to remove ads entirely
- We may use local storage for app preferences and state management
- No traditional web cookies are used in the mobile app
12. Content Moderation & Reporting
How Moderation Works:
When you report content (including posts, comments, or community templates), it is immediately hidden from public view pending admin review. Admins review all reports within 24 hours. If dismissed: content is restored and your report accuracy stats are updated. If approved: content stays removed and the author may be sanctioned.
Report Accuracy Tracking:
We track the accuracy of reports to prevent abuse of the moderation system. Your total reports, dismissed reports, and approved reports are tracked. Users with a pattern of false reports (70%+ after 10 reports, or 5+ consecutive dismissals) may have their reports deprioritized. This data is only visible to administrators and is used solely for anti-abuse purposes.
Your Rights Regarding Moderation:
If your content is hidden due to a report, you'll be notified immediately. If the report is dismissed, your content is restored and you're notified. You can export your data even if your account is suspended. Moderation decisions can be appealed by contacting useinertia@gmail.com.

- Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notification
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
